When designing a new wood shaft, shaft companies have typically focused on ‘launch angle,’ or how the ball rises. Working with engineers from Grafalloy, Fierce Golf’s design team has co-developed the new Fierce Tour Deep; the first shaft to focus on maximizing how the ball falls, or ‘angle of descent.’

Incorporating a combination of carbon nano-tubes and resin to dramatically strengthen and improve the alignment of the Tour Deep’s carbon fibers, our engineers have been able to soften (or ‘thin out ’) the center most section of the shaft. When coupled with Grafalloy’s patented super-stiff Micro Mesh Tip Technology™, this shaft produces a ball trajectory that flies flat for most of its hang time. The result is a shallower angle of descent that produces ‘Tour Quality Roll,’ giving the golfer what they really want: more total yards.
